N_FPATH( [ <cFilespec> ] )


Parameters

<cFilespec>
Filespec to parse.


Returns
PATH portion of filespec (including trailing "\"). If no path was 
specified, a null string is returned.

N_FPATH() with no parameter returns current directory name, including 
leading and trailing "\", if applicable.


Description

N_FPATH() does not verify the existence of a filespec.


Examples

// Returns string '\appl\'.
? N_FPATH('C:\appl\custfile.dbf')
\appl\
// Returns null string since
// no path was specified.
? N_FPATH('c:custfile.dbf')

// Get path of currently selected file.
