 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
     Release the memory occupied by the most recent Area Message
     displayed and restore the underlying screen.

       Arguments:

     NONE

       Return:

     Area Message stack length, ie., the number of area messages left
     on the stack.

       Example:

     twAMPop()
