        AH = 5Ah
        DS:DX -> ASCIZ directory path name ending with a '\' + 13 bytes to
                 receive generated filename
        CX = file attributes (only bits 0,1,2,5 may be set)
Return: CF set on error
            AX = error code (03h,05h) (see AH=59h)
        CF clear if successful
            AX = file handle
        DS:DX -> path name
Notes:  the file created is not truly temporary; it MUST be removed by the user
        COMPAQ DOS 3.31 hangs if the pathname is at XXXXh:0000h; it apparently
          wraps around to the end of the segment
