N_FVOL( <cDrive> )


Parameters

<cDrive>
Drive letter to examine.


Returns

Network volume name to which the specified drive letter is currently 
mapped. (The volume name generally replaces the drive letter when 
constructing a full network filespec.)


Description

Only the drive letter of <cDrive> is examined by N_FVOL() and case 
(upper or lower) is ignored. For example, the following constructions 
all return the same value:

N_FVOL('F:')
N_FVOL('f')
N_FVOL('F:\APPL\DATA\ORDER.DBF')

// Construct complete network path of file.
// Volume name replaces drive letter in filespec.
