                         CONVERSION FUNCTIONS


   This section has 50 small functions that allow you to convert from
   Imperial to Metric.  The functions are all written in C which will
   help to speed up operations if they are called recursively.  The
   functions cover area, volume, weight and distance conversion.
   There are also functions for calculating volume and area of spheres
   and cones etc.  We debated whether these functions would be of benefit
   to programmers.  But at the end of the day even if you only use one
   function from the set it was probably worth it.
