   dBx translates a Clipper application to a standard C program, and    
   includes C support libraries.                                        
                                                                        
   The function libraries have screen and database operations, including
   GET, PICTURE, and READ as well as date, string, and memo functions.  
   dBx supports features from Clipper (Summer '87), with UDFs VALID(),  
   @/ PROMPT/MENU, and extended array functions.  It includes a memo    
   evaluator that can be used to support complex macros.                
                                                                        
   The resulting C program can be run in any C environment while        
   accessing standard Clipper data and memo files. Versions are         
   available for MS-DOS, Windows, OS/2, Xenix, UNIX, and other systems.
