ASC()

Returns the ASCII value of a character
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

 Syntax

        ASC( <cCharacter> ) --> nAscNumber  

 Arguments

        <cCharacter>   Any character expression    

 Returns

        <nAscNumber>   ASCII value    

 Description

      This function return the ASCII value of the leftmost character of
      any character expression passed as <cCharacter>.

 Examples

      ? ASC("A")
      ? ASC(".")
