X-Hacker.org- dBsee 4.6 - The Library - Norton Guide
[<<Previous Entry] [^^Up^^] [Next Entry>>] [Menu] [About The Guide]
The system automatically manages Table files allowing to organise all the
information within a single file, denoted dBTabD.dbf, while the data
referring to the files' structure is contained in the dBdd.dbf file.
This saves a considerable amount of time and diskspace, since the
management of such files is done automatically: from the definition of the
indexes to the management of the data entry of the consulting windows and
reports.
By pressing the Tab button in the Dictionary environment, a frame
containing the structure of the file dBTabD will be shown. This file
contains the data of all the files defined as tables.
To access the frame containing the structure shown above, proceed as
follows:
. Press the Dictionary button from the dBsee main menu.
. Press the Tab button.
. A window containing all the definition parameters for the
table files will appear.
