   In the Options environment, a parameter is available for setting the
   sort order of the index, namely the Index attribute. The index sort
   order can be set to:

     . Ascending, allowing all keys to be in increasing order,
       thus ranging from A...Z and 1...9, or

     . Descending, allowing all keys to be in decreasing order,
       thus ranging from Z...A and 9...1.
