 STAT()

 DESCRIPTION

 STAT() returns status information including the current DBF, record
 number, and record count.

 SYNTAX

 STAT([dbf])

 PARAMETERS

 dbf (C) is the database file to use.  The default is the current
 database.

 RETURNS

 STAT() returns the current database, record number, record count,
 end-of-file status, beginning-of-file status, and found status all as a
 character string.
