    Yes.  You can do all your screen output when you take this message
    off the event queue.  That way, you can easily handle future re-draw
    events.  You might want to fetch the size of the window using
    GetClientRect() if you want the size in pixels, or MaxRow() and
    MaxCol() if you want the size in (fixed-width font) characters.
