   Enumerations are int types with named constants.

       enum-specifier:
             enum identifier {enum-list}

       enum-list:
             enumerator
             enum-list , enumerator

       enumerator:
             identifier
             identifier = constant-expression

   The  identifiers in an enum-list are declared as  constants,  and  may
   appear wherever constants are required.
