 EXOSPACE ENVIRONMENT OVERRIDE

 Synopsis

     Cause environment settings to override .EXE defaults.

 Syntax

     EXOSPACE ENVIRONMENT OVERRIDE

 Description

     This command allows environment settings to override any defaults that
     were "burned" into the .EXE using the EXOSPACE EXECUTABLE CLIPPER
     command.

     When the resulting application is executed, settings specified by the
     CLIPPER environment variable (or the variable specified by the EXOSPACE
     ENVIRONMENT CLIPPER command) will override any corresponding settings
     that were burned into the .EXE.

     Normally, option settings that have been burned into the CA-Clipper
     executable using the EXOSPACE ENVIRONMENT CLIPPER command will not be
     overridden by any environment settings when the application is run.
     This ensures that multiple applications with different settings can run
     on the same machine without changing any environment settings.

     However, using the EXOSPACE ENVIRONMENT CLIPPER command, a different
     environment variable can be set up for each application, if necessary,
     in which case it may be desirable for the contents of these environment
     variables to override the defaults in the corresponding application.
