  chatmode(int <echo_remote>);

  .  Description

  The chatmode function enters the chat mode as if the user had
  pressed Alt-Y while in terminal mode, If <echo_remote> is non-zero
  (TRUE), characters typed by the remote user are echoed back to
  him/her, otherwise they are not. The echo feature is for use in Host
  Mode implementations.
