 +++     Escape to command mode.

 After the modem has gone online, you must issue an "escape" command
 before you can give the modem any other commands.  This consists of a
 one-second pause, the string "+++", and another one-second pause.  The
 pauses let the modem tell an escape command from a string of "+"s in
 text.

 When the modem receives the escape command, it enters command mode and
 replies with the string "OK" (if using text result codes).  It does not
 hang up or disconnect, and you can go back online with the "ATO"
 command.  To hang up, use "ATH".
