Display a Commodore Amiga IFF or Deluxe Paint LBM image


Syntax

SHOWIFF <cFILENAME.IFF>


Arguments

<cFILENAME.IFF>
The Commodore Amiga IFF or Deluxe Paint LBM filename to display, with 
optional drive and path.


Remarks

SHOWIFF.EXE displays Commodore Amiga, Electronic Arts' IFF/LBM 8-bit images. 
IFF and LBM originated with the Commadore Amiga and have been provided to 
the IBM PC world primarily by Electronic Arts. Electronic Arts makes Deluxe 
Paint II Enhanced which is a 8-bit paint program that supports LBM and PCX.. 
The following variations are supported:

256 Color (VGA) Deluxe Paint II (old) LBM

Older Deluxe Paint II (IBM) LBM files (including 256-color) Deluxe Paint II 
Enhanced LBM files.

Standard IFF ILBM format (2, 4, 16, and 32 colors)

Not supported are the following IFF/LBM variations. Most of these variations 
are specialized to the Amiga or for video production, or are not too common 
in the IBM PC world, or for the NewTek Video Toaster.

As the need arises, these variations may be supported:

RGBN and RGB8 Turbo Silver file formats

Sliced HAM (SHAM) or Amiga HAM IFF ILBM 

Dynamic HiRes (DHR) or Dynamic HAM

Extra-Halfbrite IFF ILBM (4, 8, 32, and 64 colors)

Dynamic HiRes (DHR) or Dynamic HAM from NewTek
