ERDEV                    Critical Error Code

 y = ERDEV

    Returns the error status of a device error.  The low-order byte will
    contain the INT 24h error code.  The high-order byte will contain the
    bits 15, 14, 13, 3, 2, 1, and 0 of the device attribute word.

      Notes:    ERDEV is a read-only variable.
