 These functions deal with reading a writing information from the MEWEL.INI
 file. The MEWEL.INI file is an optional file which the application can use
 to store parameters pertaining to that application. Various MEWEL
 applications can share the information in this file. The MEWEL.INI file is
 analagous to the Microsoft Windows' WIN.INI file.
