Syntax

     void xfree(void *ptr);

Description
-----------

Frees memory allocated by `xmalloc' (xmalloc:.).  This function   
guarantees that a NULL pointer is handled gracefully.

Example
-------

     void *f = xmalloc(100);
     xfree(f);
