   CAS400 is a utility that enables Clipper to become a front-end       
   development tool and platform integration tool to the IBM AS/400     
   series minicomputer. The CAS400 supports applications where the PC   
   uses a simple application program interface (API) to request data or 
   processing services from the AS/400. It provides a full function     
   bridge between the workstation application and the AS/400 data       
   management, communications and program facilities as a user-friendly 
   PC development system to combine the facilities on the PC or PS/2    
   level with minicomputer capabilities.
