   FlexFile addresses the limitations of the .DBT/memo-field system in  
   Clipper Summer '87 and Clipper 5.0.                                  
                                                                        
   Flexfile only requires disk for the exact size of your memo (plus a  
   six byte header).  Clipper requires disk space in 512 byte blocks.   
   This feature alone will save an average of 256 bytes per memo-field. 
   FlexFile recycles space during a REPLACE. Clipper may abandon DBT    
   space during a REPLACE, causing significant file bloat. FlexFile's   
   file size is unlimited. Clipper's .DBT files have a maximum size of  
   32M. FlexFile can store arrays and binary data as easily as it stores
   memo data. Storing Clipper 5.0 multi-dimensional arrays to memo-field
   adds major flexibility in designing .DBF structures. FlexFile not    
   only stores the data more efficiently but can also compress the data 
   on a field-by-field basis, reducing the file size by as much as 75%  
   with little speed penalty.
