   The keys are presented with the symbol or with the caption that represents
   them on the keyboard. Combination of keys are shown in the following way:

Key1-Key2

   The symbol (-) between the two keys indicates that Key1 must be
   pressed at the same time as Key2. For example, Ctrl-A means that
   you must press Ctrl and while holding it down, press A.

Keys in Design mode

   F3                      Move current control.

   F4                      Resize current Control.

   F5                      Cycle through the various Boxes and Fonts
                           available.

   F6                      Multiple selection of controls.

   F8                      Create copy of current control.

   F10                     Generate the source code relative to the current
                           object.

   Alt-0                   Load previously defined computed variable into a
                           report format. This key is active only within
                           report formats.

   Alt-1                   Insert fields (Get+Prompt).

   Alt-2                   Insert Box control. If positioned within a List
                           Box control, add Selection (Tag) column.

   Alt-3                   Insert Expression control.

   Alt-5                   Insert Variable control.

   Alt-6                   Insert Single Get.

   Alt-7                   Quick insert. Allows to bring a group of selected
                           fields to the screen as a block.

   Alt-8                   Insert Pushbutton control.

   Alt-9                   Insert Font control.

   Alt-A                   Typeface attribute of a control. This key is
                           active only within report formats.

   Alt-B                   Data-entry: set selected control's background
                           color the background color of object. Valid also
                           for controls selected with Shift-F6.
                            Report: if not positioned on a control, set
                           Band properties.

   Alt-C                   Activate color chart to set colors of the
                           currently selected control or element.

   Alt-E                   Activate Properties frame of Say control.

   Alt-F                   Activate the Data Dictionary environment with the
                           cursor positioned on the file associated to the
                           current object.

   Alt-G                   Data-entry: define the startup control, i.e. the
                           first control activated in insertion and/or
                           modification.
                            Report: activate the grouping properties of the
                           current grouping.

   Alt-I                   Insert a new field to the main file associated to
                           the object.

   Alt-J                   Code on the current object (Injection Points). If
                           pressed on a control, activate injection points of
                           control. Otherwise, access injection points on
                           object.

   Alt-L                   Show relational branch of Lookup (N:1 relation)
                           control.

   Alt-N                   Load frame character.

   Alt-O                   Activate the current object's Definition frame.

   Alt-P                   On object: display list of the screen pages for
                           data-entry.
                            On control: move control from current screen page
                           to page 0. Controls put on page 0 will be
                           available on all screen pages.

   Alt-R                   Activate or deactivate Ruler.

   Alt-S                   On control: activate Definition frame of the
                           Symbol associated.
                            On object: display list of all Symbols defined.

   Alt-T                   Data-entry: show transactions of the current
                           object.
                            Report: activate definition environment of
                           computed variables.

   Alt-U                   Changes the cursor shape.

   Alt-X                   Recover a control placed outside the screen
                           coordinates.

   Alt-Tab                 In a multi-page data entry system, allows to
                           select the next screen page.

   Alt-Shift-Tab           In a multi-page data entry system, allows to
                           select the previous screen page.

   Alt-F1                  Display list of available controls to be brought
                           into the data entry or report format.

   Alt-F2                  Copy the mask on disk. Carries out the Print
                           Screen functionality. The name of the file saved
                           on disk is the same as the name of the object with
                           the TXT extension.

   Alt-F3                  Move current object.

   Alt-F4                  Resize current object.

   Alt-F5                  On Box: activate window in order to choose the
                           available options.

   Alt-F7                  Show and edit the incremental numbering of the
                           controls for the Get movement cycle.

   Alt-Del                 Deletes all the controls contained in the current
                           object.

   Alt-Space Bar           Activates the system menu of the object.

   Shift-F5                Changes the Box or Font type.

   Shift-F6                Selects all the controls contained in a screen
                           area.

   Space Bar               Activate Definition Frame of the highlighted
                           control.

   Del                     Delete the highlighted control.

   Esc                     Abort last operation made or quit the design
                           environment.

   Enter                   On List box: activate Edit Browse object for
                           design.
                            On Push button: simulate keypress on button and
                           eventually execute associated function.

   Ctrl-Alt-Space Bar      Activate Menu environment on current object's menu
                           for edit.

   Ctrl-Enter              Activate Options/Properties environment on current
                           element.

   Ctrl-F10                Proposes the list of all modified objects to be
                           regenerated.

   Ctrl-O                  Shell to operating system. On return, restores the
                           dBsee working session.

   Ctrl-T                  Display Template used for the generation of the
                           current object.

   Ctrl-V                  Display generated Source Code Program, relative to
                           the current object.

   .                Move cursor left one column.

   .                Move cursor right one column.

   Ctrl-.           On object: move cursor left 5 columns.
                           On color chart: move chart to the left.

   Ctrl-.           On object: move cursor right 5 columns.
                           On color chart: move chart to the right.

   Ctrl-.           On color chart: move chart up.

   Ctrl-.           On color chart: move chart down.

   .                Move cursor up one line.

   .                Move cursor down one line.

   Ctrl-Home               Position cursor at the beginning of the current
                           row.

   Ctrl-End                Position cursor at the end of the current row.

   Page down               Position cursor on the next control.

   Page up                 Position cursor on the previous control.

   Home                    Position cursor on the first control.

   End                     Position cursor on the last control.

   Alt-.            Add a column and shift all controls found on the
                           right of the cursor by one column to the right.

   Alt-.            Remove a column and shift the controls found on
                           the right of the cursor one column to the left.

   Alt-.            Add a row and shift all controls found below the
                           cursor by one row down.

   Alt-.            Remove a row and shift all controls found below
                           the cursor by one row up. The controls on the
                           removed line are deleted (Confirmation is
                           requested).
