The information brought in the main screen of the Objects environment
will differ depending on the type of management realised. If working with
a report management, the screen appears as in the figure:

Each report is always made up of only one Report object and, if necessary,
a Query object that allows to filter data to be sent to the printer. The
information displayed will be describes in the following:

In the upper part of the screen, the object that realises the report
system, the files scanned and the eventual groupings defined.

The following is shown for each file:

     . File name.

. Recovery mode used (Abort, Ignore or Recover).

. The groupings and relative expression.

Different sub-levels of grouping can be associated to each file. These are
identified by the abbreviation Grp. Lev. n followed by the grouping
   expression set.

In the lower part of the screen, other information relative to the
highlighted object, file or grouping is displayed. The frame title, in
red, indicates the element to which the information refers.
The information shown in the frame describes:

Report Object

Banner Indicates the Report Header. A check-mark
associated to the Banner indicates that the report
contains a cover page. In the properties of the
banner (pressing Edit and Report banner,
or during design Alt-B), the Has header and
footer option allows to specify if the cover
page is to be printed with or without a header and
                           a footer.

Page Header Indicates the header of each printed page. The
header is printed on all the printed pages
excluding the cover page if the option Has
header and footer of the Banner is set to No
                           (see above).

Footer A check-mark associated to the Report Footer
indicates that the report contains a closing band
within the document that can be used to contain
                           report conclusions or totals.

Page Footer Indicates the footer of each page. The Page Footer
is printed at the bottom of each page and
therefore, appear after the Report Footer on
the last page printed. The footer appears on all
the printed pages excluding the cover page, if the
option Has header and footer of the Banner is
                           set to No (see above).

File or Grouping

Expression This label assumes a value if refered to a
                           grouping.
It represents the expression for grouping data.
                           For example, the InvHd->CodInv expression
identifies the group made up of all the records of
the InvHd file that have the same value as the
                           CodInv file.

Header Indicates the Header of the file or grouping. The
check-mark indicates that a specific header band
is used for the file or grouping selected.

Body Indicates the body of the report or the data to
print. The check-mark next to this label appears
only if the selected element is a file, in order
to indicate that the data of that file can be used
to make up the report body.

Footer Indicates the Footer of the file or grouping. A
check-mark indicates that the file or grouping
will have a specific closing band.

Belongs to file Name of file. This label assumes a value when the
                           highlighted element is a file.

Parent Name of parent file. This label assumes a value
only when the highlighted element is the child
                           file of a 1:N relation.

Index Indicates the index number according to which the
records to be printed in the highlighted file will
                           be ordered.

Mod. Defines the system's behaviour (recovery) when the
search of a key puts the file in end-of-file. This
label assumes a value only when the highlighted
                           element is a file.

Query Object

In the case that the selected element is a Query object, the frame will
display the query expression that will filter the data to be printed.
