   When the selection criteria is set in a query object, the system tries to
   identify a quick (optimised) way to locate the first record to print and
   to identify the report range.

   If possible, the system computes the primary positioning key (used to seek
   the first matching record) and the break criterion (which tells the system
   when aborting) using the indexkey expression of the active index. If this
   is not possible, the report engine sequentially scans the report files.
