   The previous steps inserted an Append transaction. The record has been
   specified, but the operations to take place have not. To do so, proceed as
   follows:

     . From the list of defined transactions, press Enter after
       having highlighted the transaction inserted. A window listing all the
       operations made by a transaction is shown. Initially this window will
       be empty.

     . Press Ins to insert a new operation. The list of all
       fields of the target file will be displayed. Select the target field
       of the transaction and press Enter.

   The following mask will be shown, allowing the operation to be defined:

     . The WITH field will contain the expression that will be
       written to the target field.

     . Confirm the transaction with F10.

   Different operations, one for each field that is to be modified, can be
   associated to a single Append transaction.
