X-Hacker.org- dBsee 4.6 - The Library - Norton Guide http://www.X-Hacker.org [<<Previous Entry] [^^Up^^] [Next Entry>>] [Menu] [About The Guide]

A label of type Labels is primarily used for two purposes:

   1. To define a menu label with no functionality. This use is indicated
for creating the complete menuing structure without associating any of
the desired functions and properties. It also allows for verification
       with the Simulation button.
Afterwards, the menu label can be associated to an existing dBsee
       object, using the Alt-Ins key.

   2. To define a menu label that executes a Clipper function. The Key
function option, present in the label properties (Ctrl-Enter),
allows to set the function or procedure to execute. In case that the
function resides in an externally written source file, this file must
be explicitely declared as an External (object or source format)
in the Entities environment, so that it will be included in the
       make and/or link script.

The Labels pushbutton is used for defining a new menu label with one
   of the following properties:

. Menu label without associated functionality.

. Menu label to execute a Clipper function.
