The Relations button, present in the Relations environment,
displays a complete list of all the relations set for the current project.
The environment accessed displays a list, in the upper part of the screen,
containing the general details of each single relation. Using the arrow
keys, you will be able to position yourself on each single element and
eventually, by pressing Space Bar, edit the relative definition frame.

The information displayed is the following:

State Indicates how the relation is created. If it
                           displays a

                            - a green LED, the relation criteria are
those created automatically by dBsee, and no
                           rectifications are applied. Rectifications are
manual interventions made in the Options
environment to the key, filter, or break
                           parameters.

                            - a red LED, the relation has been modified
                           manually.

Parent Brings up the relational parent file.

Type Indicates the relation type set between the files
                           (1:N, 1:1, N:1).

Child Brings up the name of the relational child file.

Index Represents the index number on which a relation
                           has been created.

Key Indicates the search key of the records that
                           satisfy the relation.

Trigger Represents the field that triggers the Lookup
mechanism, and allows a search window to be opened
on the parent file. It can only be seen on N:1
                           relations.

Using the Ins, Space Bar and Del keys, you will be able to
respectively insert a new relation choosing among those displayed in the
list, enter into edit on the definition frame, or delete the relation on
which the scroll bar is positioned. For more information on the
insertion of the different types of relations, consult the relative
   paragraphs within this chapter.

The frames shown in the lower part of the screen (fig. 2-42) are updated
automatically when the cursor highlight moves on the different elements of
the list, and contains information regarding the keys, filter and break of
the relation, the referential integrity of the data, and the list of
inherited fields from the parent file.

The Edit Link button, pressed in correspondence to a relation,
presents an additional series of buttons that allow, respectively, to
remove the link between the field and the key of the relational parent
file, to create a new link between the key fields of the parent file, and
to insert an expression applied to the single key.
