   It may be necessary to modify some parameters of an already set relation.

   To access the definition frame of the relation and to make the necessary
   modification, proceed as follows:

     . Access the Dictionary environment by pressing the
       relative button from the dBsee main menu.

     . Highlight the file whose relation needs modification and
       press the Relations and Current File buttons.

     . Using the arrow keys, move the cursor until the desired
       relation (child file) is highlighted and press the Space Bar.

     . The definition of the referential integrity can take place
       within the environment activated with the Options button. You can
       choose from the following modes: Restrict, Nullify,
       Cascade, Orphan and Prevent.

     . The data relative to the primary positioning key and the
       filter and break expressions can be modified within the environment
       activated by the Link button. As stated before, these parameters
       should not be modified in the Options environment, unless in
       exceptional circumstances where automatic creation or manual
       implementation cannot be performed. Though, modifying these parameters
       must still be made with care.

     . Confirm the entered data by pressing F10 twice.
