   The name of the index is generated automatically and is equal to the name
   of the file to which it is associated plus a progressive number.  This
   name can only be viewed.  It is possible to assign a variable name to the
   index by following the same steps taken when attributing a variable
   (@VarName) to the physical name of a file. This name will be evaluated at
   the opening of the index.  The programmer must assign a value to it.  The
   name can be modified by using the keys Ctrl-R.  The modification will
   automatically take place everywhere that the index has been used.
