[<<Previous Entry] [^^Up^^] [Next Entry>>] [Menu] [About The Guide]
The Grab phase is the phase in which the data relative to an element
created is inserted into the repository.
For example, each time that a new menu label associated to a data entry
management is created, the Grab phase is activated as soon as the user
confirms the data inserted in the definition frame.
The Grab phase is needed to create a new entity in the repository, having
a standard group of properties that the programmer can later modify.
The system informs the user that a Grab is being executed in relation to
the new element inserted through the window displaying the progress.
The Grab of the information is executed by interpreting an appropriate
template file (with a .TMG extension) that can be accessed by the
programmer (directory \DBSEE4\TMP\CLIPPER5).
