  Grateful thanks are due to the many people who've influenced
  my thinking about OO (sorry to restrict this to OO).  At least
  the following, my apologies to those omitted!
  
  The Nantucket Research and Development teams, especially Burak
  Kozan and Rich McConnell.
  
  The "Clipper community", especially Diane Cossin, Dave
  Duchesneau, David Husnian, Larry Rappaport, Guy Smith, Rick

  The authors of the many articles in the computing journals,
  proceedings, magazines, etc.  Notably to the journalist I
  won't name here who wrote "Object technology is the future of
  computing.  If you don't believe that, then you're not fit to
  hold your present job."  These two sentences alone have been
  so useful, although I haven't yet followed through.
