   Error Log

   For troubleshooting purposes, the Advantage Database Server maintains
   an error log. When an error occurs, pertinent error information is
   appended to the Advantage error log, ADS_ERR.DBF.

   Errors are logged when a recoverable, invalid condition occurs in the
   Advantage server. An error is returned to the client which reports it as
   a CA-Clipper error object. Please have error log information available
   when you contact Extended Systems Technical Support. See Errors
   for information on specific error interpretation.

   To clear the error log, delete the file ADS_ERR.DBF. If no error log
   file exists when an error occurs, a new one will be created.
