   When an error is encountered, an Advantage error message is generated and
   passed to an error object in your error handler.  You can also call the
   Advantage function, AX_Error(), to check the error status for the last
   Advantage client command or function.  For the sake of compatibility, we
   have used the same error messages as DBFNTX and DOS whenever possible.

   1xxx          General/file access errors generated at the client
   3xxx          Advantage Database Server Expression Engine parser errors
   4xxx          Advantage Database Server Expression Engine evaluator errors
   5xxx          Advantage Client Engine errors
   60xx          General Advantage index, memo, data type, file errors
   61xx          Advantage CA-Clipper transaction processing or encryption
                 errors
   62xx          Advantage Optimized Filter errors
   63xx          Internal Advantage server communication errors
   66xx          Internal Advantage client communication errors
   67xx          NetBIOS Communication errors
   68xx          Advantage Internet Server errors
   7xxx          General/file access errors generated by the Advantage
                 Database Server
   8xxx          Advantage Database Server system errors returned by a server
                 OS call
   9xxx          Internal Advantage Database Server errors that should not
                 occur
